Cherry Cup #3

£50.00

This cup is turned by hand on a traditional pole lathe, using only the rhythm of a foot treadle and the sweep of a sharp tool. The cherry wood came from fellow craftsperson Amy Leake in Hastings — a piece of her landscape, now reimagined in a new form.

Cherry has a warmth unlike any other. Its soft glow deepens with use, taking on the gentle polish of daily ritual. Each cup carries the quiet conversation between place and purpose — a collaboration grounded in respect for material and tradition.

Holding it, you feel more than wood: you feel connection — to the hands that made it, to the tree that grew it, and to the calm that comes when we slow down and take time to notice the natural world around us.
